The South Central Spay/Neuter Clinic is a project of the Virginia Federation of Humane Societies. Made possible by the determination and generosity of the local animal welfare organization, private citizens and businesses in the region the Clinic is proud to be a model representation of a true collaborative effort.

The Clinic serves the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, Campbell, Halifax and Pittsylvania and the cities of Bedford, Danville, and Lynchburg. However, no one will be turned away based on income or place of residence.

We are committed to saving lives through prevention of birth. Thousands of animals die in our local shelters every year because irresponsible pet owners allow them to breed. The goal of this clinic is to dramatically reduce the euthanasia rate by targeting low income families and animal welfare organizations.
